The Public Security Directorate renews its warnings, and due to the deepening impact of the weather depression on the Kingdom today, Thursday, it confirms the need for compliance with necessary preventive guidelines and adopting proper behavior to minimize different types of accidents.
It emphasizes the importance of staying away from the edges of valleys, places of flash floods, and low-lying areas including the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
It also advises caution while driving on roads experiencing rainfall, fearing slips, and stresses the importance of staying away from water accumulations and not risking crossing them on foot or in vehicles.
The directorate urges the need to follow safe behavior when using heating devices of different types, not to refuel them while lit, not to leave them ignited while sleeping, and to provide adequate ventilation for homes.
It warns of low horizontal visibility due to dust in the desert areas and fog over the high mountainous elevations and parts of the plains.
It invites not to hesitate to call the unified emergency number 911 if needed.
