Khaberni - Al-Ramtha team defeated Al-Baqa'a team with a score of 2-1, in a match held today Wednesday, at the Prince Mohammad Stadium in Zarqa, in the opening of the eighth round of the Football Union Shield Championship.
Abdullah Al-Manaseer and Momen Al-Saket scored for Al-Ramtha, while Mido Al-Attar scored for Al-Baqa'a.
This victory is the first for Al-Ramtha in the championship, raising their points to 4, while Al-Baqa'a's points remain frozen at 8.
The matches continue tomorrow, with Al-Jazeera facing Shabab Al-Ordon at five in the evening, and Al-Wehdat and Al-Ahli at eight in the evening.
The round's competitions conclude next Saturday with the matches of Al-Salt against Al-Sareeh at five in the evening, and Al-Faisaly against Al-Hussein Irbid at eight in the evening.
Al-Faisaly leads the championship with 18 points.
