Khaberni - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi held extensive discussions in Doha on Wednesday, with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, focusing on bilateral issues and developments in the region.
Safadi and Sheikh Mohammed affirmed the depth and strength of the solid brotherly relations between Jordan and Qatar, and their joint commitment to enhancing the prospects for bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
They discussed regional developments and the situation in Gaza, where they emphasized the necessity of adhering to the ceasefire agreement in Gaza Strip, fully implementing its clauses, facilitating the adequate and sustainable entry of humanitarian aid into the sector without impediments, moving towards the second phase of the agreement, and linking the achievement of stability to a clear political vision.
They emphasized the necessity of ending the dangerous Israeli escalation in the occupied West Bank.
The two sides agreed to maintain coordination on developing bilateral cooperation and issues of mutual interest.
