Khaberni - The German Ambassador to Jordan, Dr. Bertram von Moltke, visited today, Wednesday, the municipality of Umm Al-Jimal and the archaeological site.
The municipal committee stated today, Wednesday, that the German ambassador reviewed the project of rehabilitating the Umm Al-Jimal water canal, which was implemented in the second half of last year with funding from the German Development Bank and in cooperation with the International Labor Organization.
The ambassador praised the completed project, noting that financing for new projects is currently under study and will be announced later.
Mohammed Abu Alem, head of the Umm Al-Jimal municipal committee, confirmed the need for more such projects in Umm Al-Jimal, appreciating the German funding for the water canal rehabilitation project.
