Khaberni - The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and the Jordanian Armed Forces, today, Wednesday, announced the commencement of accepting applications for postponing national service for those assigned to the first batch, through the electronic national service platform. The deferment conditions include those who are unable to join next year, according to the provisions of the National Service and Reserve Service Law No. (23) of 1986 and its amendments, and the regulations and instructions issued thereunder, which include students on the annual study system such as medicine and pharmacy and regular school students, or those residing abroad provided that this is proven, with the condition of joining the service immediately once the reason for postponement ends. Those who meet the conditions for postponement can apply through the platform https://khidmetalam.gov.jo/service/sanadlogin، and select the postponement option that was activated today, as all procedures will be completed electronically, without the need to consult any governmental body, allowing the conscripts to complete their procedures easily and quickly. It is noted that last Monday at the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, an electronic lottery was conducted for young people born in 2007 to select 6,000 conscripts to perform national service next year, distributed over 3 batches, with 2000 conscripts per batch.
