The "Atlas Lions" topped their group with 7 points from two wins against Comoros 3-1 and Saudi Arabia 1-0 and a goalless draw against Oman.
On the other hand, the "Qasioun Eagles" team finished second in the first group with 5 points, from a win against Tunisia 1-0 and draws against Qatar 1-1 and Palestine 0-0.
