He mentioned that after the Asian final, several people reached out to him to continue with the team, but his decision was final, and it was only a matter of time.
He added that he received calls from higher authorities in Jordan, which embarrassed him from announcing his resignation directly from coaching the national team, so he decided to postpone it until after the first stage of the Asian qualifiers for the World Cup.
He mentioned that he was not comfortable in Jordan, especially because his family was not with him in the kingdom.
