Khaberni - The Scholarships Directorate in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in collaboration with the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and pursuant to Law No. 20 of 2017 on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, has announced the recognition of the humanitarian status of the head of family suffering from long-term insufficiency in neural, physical, sensory, mental, or psychological functions, as documented in the ID card issued by the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Accordingly, heads of families meeting this condition will be able to compete for grants and loans offered by the ministry.
The Scholarships Directorate reminds heads of families interested in availing their children of these grants to visit the official website of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, or visit the council's liaison offices in any of the three regions of the kingdom.
