Khaberni - The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Al-Huneiti, received today, Tuesday, at the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army, the Sudanese Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Hassan Daoud Kabron Kian and the accompanying delegation.
The guest underwent military reception ceremonies, where he inspected the honor guard lined up to greet him.
The two sides discussed aspects of military cooperation and coordination between the Jordanian Armed Forces and their Sudanese counterparts in the defense and training fields, and the latest developments of mutual interest, contributing to enhancing strategic interests and security and stability in the region.
The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff emphasized the depth of relations between the armed forces of the two brotherly countries, highlighting the importance of continuing military coordination in all fields, which positively reflects on defense capabilities and the development of joint competencies.
On his part, the Sudanese Minister of Defense expressed his appreciation for the professional level of the Jordanian Armed Forces, praising their leading role in supporting regional security and stability.
At the conclusion of the meeting, which was attended by the Sudanese Ambassador and Military Attaché in Amman, along with several senior officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces, the Sudanese Minister of Defense wrote a note in the distinguished visitors' register.
