It turned out that Mukhtar clashed with a businessman who was in the car that brought his ex-wife to the club, after his son told him that the man was her husband.
Meanwhile, the public prosecution has ordered the detention of the businessman accused of killing Mukhtar for 4 days pending investigations, and has summoned the victim's ex-wife for questioning to ascertain the circumstances of the incident.
Investigations revealed that Mukhtar was present at the club to see his son, having been separated from his wife for some time. It was found that his ex-wife had married a businessman by customary marriage three months ago, who accompanied her and her child to the club, resulting in a fight between the two men that led to the actor’s death.
"Unintentionally"
The woman testified to the police, stating that Mukhtar initiated the attack on her and her husband with a knife.
She added that he inflicted injuries on her husband’s body as he tried to defend himself, which resulted in Mukhtar's death "unintentionally".
It is noted that the Giza Security Directorate had received a report of a person killed in front of a famous club in the city of the Sixth of October. The body of the artist Saeed Mukhtar (56 years old) was found, and the businessman "Atef.A" (61 years old) injured.
The incident caused controversy on social media, with many considering it a "wake-up call" about the consequences of divorce, child custody issues, and the societal problems they cause.
