Khaberni - The Cabinet approved granting new exemptions for vehicles purchased by officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces and security devices, whether they are active or retired.
According to the document, the decision includes exemptions for vehicles powered by gasoline, hybrids "hybrid", and electricity from general and special sales taxes, as well as exemption from registration and licensing fees.
The decision clarified that the exemption is designated for officers from the rank of "Major" and above, and is granted only once, based on the provisions of the General Sales Tax Law and the Public Money Exemption Law.
