Khaberni - Deputy Dr. Hussein Al-Amoush confirmed that if the government had wanted to raise salaries, it would indeed have done so by arranging the costs that will be allocated for that from various ways.
Al-Amoush said in his speech during the discussion of the general budget law that the government is able to address this by issuing a supplement to the general budget and disbursing salary increases for retired military and civilian personnel to compensate them for 15 years during which their salaries were not raised.
He announced his intention not to vote in favor of the general budget.
Al-Amoush questioned, "Who other than the governments have replaced the Jordanians' mansaf from lamb to chicken, they brought the mutation and less zest".
