Aseel Raed Nawfal, a student at Amman Al-Ahliya University from the College of Information Technology specializing in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, secured the second place and the silver medal for the 125 kg category at the National Free Wrestling Championship.
This achievement came at the championship organized by the Jordanian Wrestling Federation on Friday, December 5, at the Yarmouk hall in Al-Hussein City for Youth, which saw a wide participation from some of the top wrestlers at the national level, amid strong competitive atmospheres reflecting the notable development in the sport of free wrestling.
Professor Dr. Mustafa Al-Atiyat, the Dean of Student Affairs, praised Nawfal’s accomplishment, affirming the Dean of Student Affairs' commitment to monitoring and supporting all student athletes at the university.
