Khaberni - The national team meets its Egyptian counterpart at 5:30 PM today, Tuesday, at Al Bayt Stadium in the Qatari capital, as part of the third round of the group stage of the Arab Cup.

The team conducted its official training yesterday evening Monday on the Al-Aqla fields, led by coach Jamal Salami, with the participation of all players, to put the final touches, alongside implementing some tactical phrases for tomorrow's meeting.

The national team has already clinched the top spot in Group Three, ensuring qualification to the quarter-finals from the previous round, as it leads the team standings with 6 points, while Egypt is second with two points, followed by the UAE and Kuwait with one point each.

In turn, Salami explained during the press conference held this afternoon Monday, that Al-Nashama enters this match considering it an important milestone for preparation for the quarter-finals and maintaining prospects in the upcoming rounds, with an emphasis on continuing the ascending pace of performance that the players have presented since the beginning of the tournament.

He added that the match represents a suitable opportunity to involve some players and give them additional minutes while maintaining overall readiness, especially since the Egyptian team is a strong competitor entering the match with a clear ambition to achieve a positive result that ensures their progression to the next round.
