Khaberni - The family of the late artist Said Mukhtar announced the postponement of the funeral prayer to the time of the Isha prayer in his hometown of Tanta, after it was originally scheduled to be held at the time of the Maghrib prayer.

The postponement was due to severe congestion on the roads, which prevented the body from arriving in time for the prayer at the originally planned place and time.

The body is scheduled to be escorted immediately after the Isha prayer, amidst an atmosphere of sadness among the people of Tanta and the admirers of the deceased.

The family has obtained a permit to bury the artist after completing the official procedures, including an autopsy of the body as per the instructions of the public prosecutor, and the burial ceremonies will take place in the Tanta cemetery.

The family also revealed the details of the funeral and condolences through the artist's official Facebook account, which stated: "With hearts believing in God's decree and fate, Said Mukhtar will be buried today, the funeral prayer after the Maghrib prayer at Awara Mosque, and condolences on Wednesday at the Dar Al-Manasat in Tanta after the Maghrib prayer. We ask God to envelop him in His vast mercy and admit him into His vast gardens, and to inspire us with patience and solace, indeed to God we belong and to Him we shall return."

In another context, the investigative authorities have completed the interrogation of the suspect in the incident of the murder of artist Said Mukhtar in front of Wadi Degla Club in October.

The investigations clarified that the incident arose from a dispute that escalated into a fight, where the defendant drew a sharp weapon and stabbed the victim several times, resulting in his death.
