Khaberni - The national team has completed its technical and physical preparations, in anticipation of facing its Egyptian counterpart at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, December 9, at Al Bayt Stadium in Doha, as part of the FIFA Arab Cup 2025.
The team conducted its official training on Monday evening at Al-Uqla fields, led by coach Jamal Salami, with the participation of all players, to put the final touches, alongside applying some tactical phrases for tomorrow's match.
The national team had already secured the lead of Group Three while ensuring its advancement to the quarter-finals since the previous round, currently leading the team standings with six points, while Egypt ranked second with two points, followed by the UAE and Kuwait with one point each.
In turn, Salami highlighted during the press conference held at noon today, Monday, that Al-Nashama is entering this match as an important milestone in preparation for the quarter-finals and to maintain chances in upcoming stages, with an emphasis on continuing the ascending pace of performance that the players have shown since the start of the tournament.
He added: The match represents a suitable opportunity to involve some players and give them additional minutes while maintaining overall readiness, especially since the Egyptian team is a strong competitor entering the match with a clear ambition to achieve a positive result that ensures its qualification to the next round.
On the other hand, player Mahmoud Muradi stated that Al-Nashama plays each match with determination to present the best image of Jordanian football, and the secret of the team's strength and success comes from the players' cohesion and working as one family both inside and outside the field.
He added: The physical condition of the players is excellent thanks to the efforts of the physical and medical staff who continue to prepare everyone in the best possible way before each match, and through this meeting, we aim to confirm Al-Nashama's right to lead the group.
Additionally, the technical meeting held at noon today reviewed the administrative and organizational instructions for the match, alongside confirming the colors of the teams, where Al-Nashama will wear red, and Egypt will wear white.
The list of Al-Nashama for the tournament includes (23) players: Yazid Abu Layla, Noor Bani Atiyah, Malik Shelbeya, Abdullah Nasib, Saad Al-Rousan, Saleem Obeid, Hossam Abu Dahab, Ali Hajbi, Hadi Al-Hourani, Essam Al-Samiri, Adham Al-Quraishi, Rajai Ayed, Amer Jamous, Nizar Al-Rashdan, Ibrahim Saadah, Mohammad Abu Hashish, Mohannad Abu Taha, Ouda Al-Fakhouri, Ahmad Arsan, Mahmoud Muradi, Mohammad Abu Zureik, Ali Alwan, and Yazan Al-Naimat.
Al-Nashama team has secured its qualification to the 2026 World Cup finals for the first time in its history, thus becoming the first Arab team to guarantee its spot in the World Cup.
