The Cairo Criminal Court in Egypt, on Monday, postponed the trial sessions of producer Sara Khalifa and 27 other defendants until December 21 to continue the defense arguments in one of the largest cases related to the manufacture and trafficking of narcotics.
The case files indicate that the defendants are accused of forming a criminal group that imports substances used in the manufacture of drugs with the intention of trafficking, in addition to the possession of firearms and ammunition without a legal permit.
The prosecution had referred the defendants to trial after extensive investigations concluded the suspicion of their involvement in activities related to the production and promotion of narcotics, as well as incidents of assault mentioned in the case file.
