Khaberni - Sami Samirat, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, stated that the selection of 6,000 conscripts from those born in 2007 for military service was carried out through a precise and judicial electronic lottery in the presence of a specialized technical committee to ensure transparency, justice, and data protection.
Samirat explained during a joint press conference for selecting the first batch of conscripts for military service, on Monday, that the lottery process and the selection of the 6,000 conscripts will occur in three batches, to be implemented in the year 2026, with 2000 conscripts in each batch.
24 Hours to Object to the Military Service
He pointed out that postponing military service would be available through the platform 24 hours after the selection of the conscripts and according to the regulations set in the instructions.
Samirat called on those born in 2007 and their families to check the military service platform khidmetalam.gov.jo to verify if they have been selected or not.
