Khaberni - Middle East University signed a memorandum of understanding with the Princess Taghreed Foundation for Development and Training, aiming to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of vocational training, psychological and educational support, and to empower various community groups through specialized educational and training programs.

The memorandum was signed on behalf of the university by its president Professor Dr. Salam Khaled Al-Muhadin, and on behalf of the foundation by its General Manager Dr. Agadir Juweihan.

Dr. Al-Muhadin, in the presence of Deputy Professor Dr. Tamara Naser Al-Din and a number of officials and university representatives, stated that the signing of this memorandum embodies Middle East University's belief in its national role in supporting the most needy groups, and expanding the scope of partnerships that enhance students' academic and practical capabilities, pointing out that the cooperation with Princess Taghreed Foundation will enable the university to engage in quality programs that contribute to empowering marginalized groups, supporting diagnostic services and psychological support, and developing the vocational training system within a specialized and reliable work environment.

For her part, Dr. Juweihan, in the presence of a number of the foundation's representatives, emphasized the importance of building effective partnerships with leading academic institutions, stressing that Princess Taghreed Foundation is one of the national entities concerned with empowering families, orphans, and those without familial support, and that cooperation with Middle East University will open up opportunities for developing joint training programs and community initiatives that combine the academic aspect and the practical field, serving the needs of the community more broadly.

The memorandum aims to establish a joint framework between the two parties that includes the accreditation of professional courses and diplomas, organizing training programs for university students, executing community campaigns and specialized lectures in mental health and social support, in addition to developing joint research projects, social responsibility programs with accredited hours, and coordinating training for final year students from various specialties.
