Khaberni - Artificial intelligence is causing the emergence of an entirely new generation of artificial intelligence billionaires.

The world now includes 2,919 billionaires - an increase of 8.8% compared to last year - and they are richer than ever before, according to a new report by Swiss bank UBS.

UBS based its report on surveys of its billionaire clients, along with its own billionaire database in collaboration with PricewaterhouseCoopers, according to a report by Business Insider.

These billionaires' combined net worth amounts to $15.8 trillion, up 13% from last year.

This increase in billionaires' wealth is largely due to a significant rise in technology stocks, including Meta, Oracle, and Nvidia, driven by artificial intelligence.

The "Magnificent Seven" - a group of high-performing American technology companies - saw a 25% increase in their stock prices this year.

Six technology billionaires in the United States have increased their wealth by $171 billion, primarily linked to the growth of their companies in the field of artificial intelligence.

In China as well, technology billionaires linked to the field of artificial intelligence have seen a significant increase in their fortunes.

While the billionaires who became richer this year - including prominent names like Alphabet's founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Oracle CEO Larry Ellison, and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang - benefitted from the artificial intelligence boom, the new 287 billionaires worldwide had diverse sources of wealth.
