Khaberni - As the end of the year approaches, Apple is not expected to release any new devices before 2026, but it will continue to launch programming challenges for its current devices.
Leaks indicate that Apple is expected to release 4 new devices in early 2026, possibly as soon as January.
Among these four new devices may be a new budget-friendly phone, according to a report by the tech news site "9to5Mac".
1- "iPhone 17e"
Apple is working on developing an additional member of the iPhone 17 series, expected to be launched in early 2026.
In February last year, Apple revealed a replacement for the "iPhone SE" model named "iPhone 16e". Rumors later suggested that Apple plans to update the "e" model annually.
Thus, the company is expected to launch the "iPhone 17e" early next year, which will contain the same "A19" chip found in the iPhone 17 series, in addition to a new front camera supporting the "Center Stage" feature.
It is rumored that the phone will include two changes in design, namely adopting "Dynamic Island" instead of the notch, and slimmer edges around the screen. The new budget-friendly "iPhone 17e" model is likely to be priced at $599, and will continue to be equipped with only a single rear camera.
2- MacBook Pro
This fall, Apple launched the new "M5" chip in three products: MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and Vision Pro. However, the new chip has not yet received "Pro" or "Max" versions, and the only device that received it is the 14-inch model.
Reports indicate that Apple will launch 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro devices with "M5 Pro" and "M5 Max" processors in early 2026.
3- New 12.9-inch MacBook
Analysts have been calling on Apple for years to release a low-cost MacBook, capable of competing with Chromebooks and less expensive PCs. It seems that this will finally happen in early 2026.
Reports indicate that Apple is preparing a MacBook with a 12.9-inch screen, running on an "A18 Pro" chip similar to those used in iPhones, and it will come in a variety of vibrant colors.
The most noteworthy feature of this upcoming MacBook is its price, said to range between $599 and $699. Analyst Jeff Bo predicts that the MacBook will be shipped "in the middle of the first quarter of 2026", making its unveiling in late January very likely.
4- iPad with "A18" chip
Earlier this year, Apple's basic iPad model received a spec update with the addition of the "A16 Bionic" processor.
However, it is expected that the company will launch its next iPad in early 2026, equipped with the "A18" chip that supports "Apple Intelligence" artificial intelligence features.
Not much is known about this new iPad, but it is generally expected to retain the same design, with updates primarily focusing on the internal components.
