Khaberni - The Rehabilitation Division of the Israeli Ministry of Defense revealed that 82,400 injured Israelis are receiving treatment in the division, 31,000 of whom suffer from psychological issues and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Israeli reports indicate that about 22,000 casualties have been added to the care of the Rehabilitation Division following the Israeli war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, and 58% of them suffer from psychological injuries.
Israeli estimates suggest that by 2028, the division will take care of 100,000 casualties, 50% of whom will suffer from psychological problems.
The budget of the Rehabilitation Division has increased by 53% to reach 8.3 billion shekels.
