Khaberni - The "Sefizli Bagh" Metrobus station in the Turkish capital of Istanbul witnessed a tragic accident on the evening of December 6, 2025, when a 14-year-old girl fell in front of a public transport bus approaching the station.
The girl, who was waiting to board, suddenly lost consciousness and fell onto the road, leading to the bus hitting her and inflicting severe injuries, resulting in her being transported to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment.
Security cameras installed at the station clearly recorded the shocking and sudden accident footage, showing the girl waiting alongside many passengers on the platform before she lost consciousness and fell, followed immediately by the bus colliding with her, amidst the horror and confusion of those nearby.
Immediate interventions were carried out at the site of the accident to rescue the girl before she was transferred by ambulance to the hospital, where her condition was described as critical, and doctors continue to monitor her vital stability.
Meanwhile, the bus driver was briefly detained for investigation, before being released on judicial supervision, pending the results of the official investigations which are focused on determining the causes of the accident and safety procedures at the station.
