Your insult wont shake me The crisis escalates between Kinda Hanna and Samer Al Masri

Khaberni - The crisis between actress Kinda Hanna and actor Samer Al Masri escalated over her accusation that he was behind her exclusion from the Syrian series "Al-Noueilaty", to which Al Masri replied that he "does not know her", and Hanna commented that "the insult does not shake her".

The Syrian actress stated through the Stories feature on her Instagram page that "an insult from a person without principle does not shake me", in a comment considered an "indirect response" to the statements of the prominent Syrian acting star.

She added: "I hope that there is good in this matter that lifts me up and does not break me".

Al Masri had previously asserted that he "does not personally know Kinda Hanna and there is nothing personal between them, and that the decision to exclude her was purely a production decision".

Al Masri clarified in media statements that "her exclusion was due to her not fitting the role from the point of view of the work team and the producing company Golden Line", denying that "he had any personal involvement in the matter".

The crisis began when Kinda Hanna revealed the reason behind her exclusion from the series "Al-Noueilaty", which is being filmed in Damascus, during her appearance in an episode of the podcast "Weba'adein" with Lebanese media personality Rabia Zayyat.

She indicated that she "was excluded from the project after she actually started shooting her role for just one day, and was informed by the managing director of the producing company that the reason behind her exclusion was the series' lead actor Samer Al Masri, who requested her replacement with another actress, who works as a media professional and has no experience in acting".

She added that she "originally joined the work as a (situation rescue), and with insistence from the producing company, whose director refused to pay her financial compensation after her exclusion, arguing that she was not the reason for the exclusion, leading her to resort to the Syrian Artists Syndicate to file a complaint".

Kinda praised the welcome and sympathy she received from Mazen Al Natour, the head of the actors' syndicate, wondering: "Are we here to make art or run gangs"?

The series "Al-Noueilaty", written by Osman Jaha, directed by Yazan Sharbatji, revolves around the profession of "Damascus loom" and the history of silk production in Damascus.
