During the meeting, he affirmed the necessity of intensifying international efforts to restore stability in the region, and ensure that all parties comply with the stages of the agreement to end the war in Gaza, and the delivery of humanitarian aid.
The King referred to the pivotal role of the United States in the region and its efforts in supporting the pursuit of peace.
Speaking of the recent escalation in the West Bank, His Majesty emphasized the necessity of exerting maximum efforts to stop unilateral actions against the Palestinians there.
The meeting addressed the strategic partnership between Jordan and the United States, and ways to expand cooperation in various fields.
Waltz valued his country's partnership with Jordan and the role of the Kingdom in facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people.
Earlier today, Sunday, Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, met with Waltz, and they discussed the overall developments in the region.
