Khaberni - Eintracht Frankfurt may miss another player's services before visiting Spanish Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League next Tuesday.
Michy Batshuayi played for the first time in the Leipzig match, which ended in a crushing defeat for the team, 6-0 in the German league on Saturday, but he went off in the second half and joined his teammate, striker Jonathan Burkardt, on the injury list.
Dino Topmuller, Frankfurt coach, said in a press conference on Saturday: "Things don't look good. He sustained a bruise on his foot and will undergo an examination tomorrow. He won't be ready before Christmas."
Winger Ansgar Knauff also missed the match due to a cold, and Frankfurt, which has shown inconsistent performance this season amidst strong matches in all competitions, has four points in the Champions League so far at the league stage.
