Khaberni - The Israeli occupation forces launched today, on Sunday, a widespread campaign of raids and arrests in various areas of the occupied West Bank, including the storming and searching of Palestinian homes and assaults on the residents, in addition to smashing contents inside the houses.
The Palestinian Prisoners' Club stated in a statement that the occupation forces stormed, amid heavy gunfire, several areas in the cities of Hebron, Bethlehem, Nablus, Ramallah, Tulkarem, and Jenin, and arrested 16 Palestinians under the pretext that they were wanted.
In a related context, dozens of settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Noble Sanctuary of Al-Quds in the occupied city of Jerusalem, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation police.
The Jerusalem Islamic Waqf reported in a statement that the settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in successive groups from the direction of Bab al-Maghariba, performed provocative Talmudic rituals, and took tours inside its courtyards, under strict guard by the occupation police which prevented Muslim worshippers from entering the mosque through its outer gates, to secure the settlers' intrusions.
