Khaberni - Dubai topped the list of the largest and most prominent tourist destinations in the world in terms of hotel occupancy rates during November 2025, registering a strong performance with the overall occupancy rate of hotel establishments in the emirate reaching 87.5%, according to preliminary data from Amadeus, a company specialized in travel and tourism technology services.
According to the company's data on the performance of the largest and most prominent tourist destinations in the world, Dubai continued to post strong occupancy rates throughout November 2025, peaking on November 6th with a rate of about 93%, while the first and second weeks of November saw occupancy levels exceed 87%.
The hotel market in Dubai during November recorded occupancy levels that exceeded the 90% mark for seven days, and the overall occupancy rate in November rose by more than 6% compared to the previous October, which registered a rate of 82.4%.
This data includes only hotel rooms, as Dubai's hospitality market includes thousands of "holiday homes" units.
Dubai outperformed the performance of the largest tourism destinations around the world during November 2025, including New York which recorded an occupancy rate of about 85.1%, London with about 78.4%, Paris with about 74.8%, and other international destinations.
Dubai hosted a number of major events and conferences during November 2025, including the Dubai Airshow, the ICOM Dubai 2025 Conference, The Big 5 Show, the Gulfood Manufacturing, Dubai Future Forum 2025, and many other significant events.
The Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai revealed the latest statistics on the performance of the tourism sector and the number of international visitors during the first 10 months of the current year, showing that Dubai attracted 15.7 million international visitors between January and October 2025, a record number compared to 14.96 million international visitors during the same period last year, an increase of about 5%.
By the end of October 2025, Dubai had more than 152.8 thousand hotel rooms in 820 hotel establishments, compared to approximately 152.5 thousand hotel rooms in 827 establishments by the end of October 2024, and the average hotel occupancy rate in all operating establishments in Dubai was 79.4% during the period between January and October 2025, compared to 77% during the same period in 2024.
