Khaberni - Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan issued an official holiday notice on the occasion of Christmas and New Year
and the notice stated that all ministries, official departments, public institutions and bodies, official universities, municipalities, joint services councils, and the Greater Amman Municipality, as well as companies fully owned by the government, will suspend operations on Thursday, December 25, 2025, and Thursday, January 1, 2026; on the occasion of Christmas and New Year.
The notice also included that December 26, 2025, will be an official holiday for Christians.
The notice exempted the ministries, departments, and official institutions whose nature of work requires otherwise.
