Khaberni - The ceremony for accepting the credentials of several ambassadors from brotherly and friendly countries took place at Basman Al-Zaher Palace, Sunday.
His Majesty King Abdullah II accepted the credentials of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Highness Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan Al Saud, the Ambassador of Egypt Khaled Al-Abiad, and the Ambassador of Lebanon Brigitte Touq.
His Majesty also accepted the credentials of the Ambassador of Canada Louis-Martin Oumet, the Ambassador of Australia Paula Ganley, the Ambassador of the United States James Holtsneider, the Ambassador of China Guo Wei, and the Ambassador of Azerbaijan Shahin Shaker Oglo Abdullayev.
Upon the arrival of the ambassadors at Basman Al-Zaher Palace, the Jordanian royal anthem and the national anthems of their countries were played.
The ambassadors laid wreaths on the tombs of the late, by the will of Allah, His Majesty King Hussein bin Talal, His Majesty King Abdullah I bin Hussein, the founder, and His Majesty King Talal bin Abdullah, may Allah bless their souls.
The credential acceptance ceremony was attended by the Chief of the Hashemite Royal Court Yousuf Hasan Al-Issawi, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Al-Safadi.
