AlNashama Fans Steal the Spotlight at the Arab Cup

Khaberni - The Jordanian audience lit up the Doha stands with a notable presence that transformed the national team's matches in the Arab Cup into what resembled playing on purely Jordanian ground, with exceptional public turnout.

Members of the diaspora and visitors from the Kingdom topped the discussions on Arab satellite channels and among the sports community in Qatar, after they presented a notable model of allegiance and support, giving Al-Nashama a significant morale boost that reflected in the team's performance on the field.

The Jordanian audience, including members of the Jordanian diaspora in Qatar and Jordanians who traveled to watch the match from various provinces of the Kingdom, received universal praise for their exemplary encouragement and high sportsmanship, along with their great enthusiasm for supporting their national team, alongside the varied activities they hold outside the stadium, which reflect Jordan's history and civilization.

The national team's matches against the UAE and Kuwait witnessed a large public presence in the stands, with nearly 35,000 Jordanians at each match, contributing to the team's victory and enriching a tournament that achieved great success technically, organizationally, and in terms of public engagement, supported by Al-Nashama's fans.

The Jordanian fans are the most present and active at the Arab Cup matches, through their cheering activities inside the stadium or through the events held in several areas in Qatar, particularly at the "Souq Waqif" which has become a hub for a large number of fans celebrating the national team’s brilliance.

The Jordanian coach in Qatar, Ayoub Abu Hatib, told the Jordanian News Agency (Petra) that the Jordanian audience has been the talk of the Arab fans in recent days, thanks to their dense presence in and out of the stands, which granted the tournament a passionate and distinctive atmosphere.

He added that the Jordanian audience has become the highlight of the Arab Cup, not only for their dense presence but also for their wonderful activities characterized by sportsmanship and enthusiasm, contributing to creating a fantastic atmosphere in Doha.

Meanwhile, the Jordanian coach Maher Ismail, working as a coach in one of Qatar's clubs, expressed his happiness about the dense presence of these Jordanian crowds in the Doha stadiums, in a scene reflecting the Jordanians' eagerness to cheer for and support their team, alongside displaying high sportsmanship.

Ismail noted that the fluttering of Jordanian flags in Qatar’s stadiums and outside them is a matter of pride for Jordanians who adore their country and devote themselves to it.

Jordanian fan Ali Rifai, an engineer in Qatar, confirmed that the influx of Jordanian fans to Qatar to support the Al-Nashama team underscores Jordanians' love for their country, noting that as Jordanians working in Doha, they eagerly await such events, as they offer them a connection to their homeland through the crowds.

Rifai mentioned that he feels proud when his colleagues of various Arab nationalities talk to him and commend the beauty of the Jordanian audience in the stands, hoping that the Al-Nashama team will succeed in making these fans happy by returning to Amman with the tournament cup.
