Egypt A report against the dancing doctor accuses her of impersonation and spreading debauchery

Khaberni - An Egyptian lawyer filed a complaint to the Attorney General against the dancer Sharouk, accusing her of publishing content contrary to public morals, after a video of her performing belly dances at a private party.

The complaint accuses Sharouk Qasim of committing acts that violate public decency and incite immorality, considering that the video contains scenes that represent a blatant offense to ethical and religious values, and directly affect family and societal values.

The complaint mentioned that these acts are considered as promoting debauchery and lewdness and convey messages that threaten the stability of society.

The lawyer also confirmed that the dancer Sharouk has a diploma and is impersonating a doctor, after rumors spread that she was a dentist by day and a belly dancer by night.

The video stirred widespread controversy after it was widely shared, especially following rumors that she was a dentist and worked as a belly dancer, but the dental association denied this.

Dr. Ehab Heikal, head of the dental association, stated that what was circulated on social media in recent days regarding the dancing girl and the claim that she was a dentist working during the day and dancing at night, is not true.

He explained that her membership in the association was just rumors that are not based on any official information, adding that the association investigated its records after the topic spread about 8 months ago, and did not find the name in question at all.
