Khaberni - Egyptian security devices succeeded in solving the mystery of the disappearance of a child five years old in Sohag Governorate, in an incident resembling cinematic movie events, where it was revealed that a couple lured the young child and detained him with the intention of raising him due to their infertility.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Interior in Egypt, the Tahta Police Department received a report on November 30th from a woman informing of her son's disappearance while he was with her at her workplace in one of the hospitals within the department's jurisdiction, prompting the security forces to begin immediate investigations to uncover the circumstances of the sudden disappearance.

The intensive investigations resulted in identifying the location of the missing child with a worker and his wife living within the jurisdiction of the Sohag Police Center, and the security forces succeeded in detaining the couple after legalizing the necessary procedures.

The accused admitted during the investigations that he had lured the child by taking advantage of the mother's preoccupation, affirming that the motive behind his act was his desire to raise a child with his wife due to their inability to conceive, in an attempt to fill the emotional void they suffered from.

The authorities returned the child to his family unharmed, while the Public Prosecution took the necessary legal action against the couple accused in this incident, which sparked a wide debate among social media users.

Some in the comments cited the events of the movie "The Last of the Respectable Men" by the late artist Nour El-Sherif, who portrayed the character "Farjani" supervising a group of students on their trip to Cairo, where one of the girls loses her way only to be lured by a childless woman who hides her in her home, showers her with gifts and toys, and tries to control her to live with her as her daughter whom she was deprived of.
