Khaberni - Only a few days have passed since the unveiling of Samsung's Korean "Galaxy Z TriFold", but it seems that this tri-fold phone might soon face another competitor.
A list of new certifications suggests that the Chinese company Xiaomi is working on its own tri-fold phone.
Xiaomi has received a new certificate from the International Association for Mobile Networks, which seems to pertain to the anticipated multi-fold foldable phone, as spotted by a report on "XiaomiTime".
It is rumored that Xiaomi's upcoming tri-fold phone will be named "Mix Trifold", and is expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2026.
Leakages reveal that the "Mix Trifold" will have dimensions similar to Samsung's new "Galaxy Z TriFold".
The phone is expected to be equipped with the "Snapdragon 8 Elite" processor like the Galaxy phone, ensuring superior performance.
The size of Xiaomi's tri-fold phone's main screen when fully opened will range between 10.5 and 11 inches.
It is anticipated that the design of "Mix Trifold" will resemble the "Huawei Mate XT" phone, meaning it will have a dual inward fold.
