Khaberni - The Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister, Dr. Manal Ridwan, reaffirmed at the "Doha Forum 2025" her country's stance on the necessity of achieving a just solution for the Palestinian issue through the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, emphasizing that implementing the two-state solution is the only way to achieve security for all, pointing out that "Israel refuses to implement it".
The Minister noted that the global alliance for implementing the two-state solution has resulted in various diplomatic efforts, and is consistent with the twenty-point peace plan drafted in cooperation with Arab and Islamic countries along with America.
The Deputy Foreign Minister’s speech at the Saudi Foreign Ministry occurred within a session that dealt with the forum's themes concerning mediation in conflicts, peacebuilding, global governance and multilateralism, and humanitarian access and crisis response in partnership with the International Crisis Group.
Dr. Manal Ridwan stated, "Gaza is not a separate issue but an integral part of the Palestinian issue, and it is impossible to move between the stages of the plan without preserving the ultimate goal of establishing the Palestinian state."
Saudi Arabia confirms its ongoing efforts to end the suffering of the Palestinians and to stop the continuing cycle of violence, and reiterates that "the Palestinian issue is at the forefront of Riyadh's foreign policy priorities." The kingdom does everything in its power to achieve a just solution that begins with the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, leading to comprehensive and sustainable regional peace.
