Khaberni - The Kuwaiti artist Shjoon Al-Hajri is devastated by the death of her father, Matar Ayed Mohammed Al-Hajri, following a long struggle with illness and months that saw a severe and continuous decline in his health condition.

Shjoon Al-Hajri announced the death on her social media accounts, mourning her father with words filled with sadness and faith: "Indeed, the heart grieves and the eye weeps, but we say nothing except what pleases Allah. With hearts believing in Allah's decree and destiny, my dear father Matar Al-Hajri has moved to the mercy of Allah."


She added her prayers for the deceased, saying: "May Allah have mercy on him, forgive him, and grant him the highest paradise, without reckoning or prior punishment."

The prayer on the body and the burial rites are scheduled for today, Saturday, December 6th (December) at the Sulaibikhat cemeteries, where the grieving ceremony will be held after the funeral is completed.

As for the women's condolences, it will take place at the family home for 3 consecutive days, from Sunday to Tuesday afternoon.

The news of the death of Shjoon Al-Hajri's father was met with great interaction from the Kuwaiti and Arab artistic community, as many stars rushed to offer their condolences and sympathy to their colleague.

The actress Huda Hussein wrote: "May Allah have mercy on him and forgive him, my dear, and give you patience," while both Layla Abdullah and Hala Al Turk expressed their condolences with: "To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return, may Allah have mercy on him and forgive him and grant him His spacious gardens, O Lord."

Shoug Al-Hadi performed the duty of condolence, writing: "May Allah magnify your reward, may Allah have mercy on him, forgive him, and give you patience."

Several artists such as Ayten Amer, Balqees, Bassem Moughnieh, Shaimaa Seif, Rahma Riad, and Haifa Hussein, along with Shjoon’s wide audience, also shared their condolences.

Also, the writer Fahad Al-Aliwa shared his condolences, funeral, and mourning ceremony through his social media accounts.

Previously, Shjoon Al-Hajri had shared with her followers details about her late father's health condition, posting pictures and touching videos showing her touching his head, kissing his forehead, and feeding him by herself in the hospital. Alongside these posts, she continuously shared prayers for healing and well-being.
