Confirmed by the President of the Accreditation Commission for Higher Education Institutions and Quality Assurance Professor Doctor Zafer Al-Sarayrah in a press release: that there are no Jordanian universities within the Shanghai international ranking of universities for the year 2025, pointing out that what is being circulated about the entry of some Jordanian universities into the ranking is inaccurate and not based on the official lists issued by the accredited international body.
Al-Sarayrah added that some of what is circulated only relates to limited appearances of programs or sub-areas within side categories in the ranking, which does not mean at all that the university as an institutional entity enters the general ranking that includes the first 1000 universities worldwide.
