The Traffic Department confirmed that its staff in the capital and the provinces controlled the traffic movement completely during the 24 hours past.
Lieutenant First Class Duaa Al-Habahbeh from the Traffic Department, in statements to Public Security Radio today, Sunday, stated that the Kingdom was affected by a state of atmospheric instability, accompanied by heavy rains, in addition to the national team's match in the Arab Cup Championship, and preparations for the beginning of the official working hours at universities and schools.
Al-Habahbeh warned of low clouds on the roads, urging drivers to activate the four-way flashers and low lighting.
She explained that the traffic staff dealt with several accidents during the depression, most of them due to close following, not taking traffic safety precautions, and changing lanes suddenly.
