Khaberni - The Egypt and UAE teams drew (1-1), in an exciting clash at Lusail Stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha, concluding the second round of Group C of the Arab Football Cup, with the UAE's goal scored by Caio Lucas in the 60th minute, and Egypt's goal by Marwan Hamdy in the 85th minute.
The UAE gained their first point in the group, keeping their chances alive for qualification to the quarter-finals into the third and final round scheduled next Tuesday, where they will meet the Kuwaiti team in a Gulf summit with an Arab flavor.
Meanwhile, the Jordanian team strengthened their lead in Group C at the end of the second round, securing their qualification to the quarter-finals by reaching 6 points, having defeated the Kuwaiti team (3-1) in their match at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium.
The Egyptian team increased their tally to two points and ranked second, and the Kuwaiti team stayed at one point each, also retaining their chances to advance to the next round until the last match.
