Khaberni - Within the context of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University's endeavors to enhance its academic and research presence locally and internationally, and reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence and research contributions, Dr. Eyad Al-Shawarib, faculty member, participated in the 11th Dialogue Conference between Chinese and Arab Civilizations, which was held in Beijing, People’s Republic of China, sponsored by the Chinese Foreign Relations Department and the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States. The conference witnessed the attendance of Arab delegations and representatives from various local community organizations, alongside a group of faculty members from a number of Arab universities.
During the conference, Dr. Al-Shawarib presented a research paper discussing ways to enhance mutual understanding between China and Arab countries within the framework of the "Belt and Road" initiative, indicating that achieving this understanding requires integrated work across cultural, educational, and economic levels. He also outlined some suggested procedural steps, including the expansion of student and academic exchange programs between Chinese and Arab universities in general, and Jordanian universities in particular, as well as providing specialized scholarships for teaching Chinese and Arabic to enhance knowledge and cultural communication between the two sides.
Dr. Al-Shawarib also met with several faculty members from Chinese universities during the conference, where discussions were held on prospects for cooperation in the areas of cultural exchange between students and researchers, and enhancing academic partnerships between Amman Arab University and Chinese universities. The meeting included a review of the latest developments in precision industries, modern technology, and artificial intelligence applications in the educational sector.
This participation is one of the fruits of the ongoing support from Amman Arab University for scientific research efforts, and its dedication to empowering researchers and encouraging their participation in international scientific events, as part of its strategy aimed at establishing its position as a leading and distinguished academic institution in scientific research at both the local and international levels.
