Khaberni - The Accreditation and Quality Assurance Council approved the learning outcomes for the Intermediate Diploma in Business Administration, and agreed to place a number of academic qualifications within the national framework for qualifications at several Jordanian universities.
The placement decisions included specialties: Doctor of Dental Surgery (Bachelor's program) at Mutah University, Computer Engineering (Bachelor's program) at the Jordanian University, Architectural Engineering (Bachelor's program) at the Hussein Technical University and Philosophy qualification (PhD program) at the Hussein bin Talal University, and Engineering Management and Smart Manufacturing (Master's programs) at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, in addition to Accounting (Bachelor's program) and Law (Master's program) at Al-Isra University.
At Al-Balqa Applied University, the council approved in its recent meeting the placement of qualifications in road and bridge engineering, computer engineering, security and networks engineering, and electrical engineering (power) within Bachelor's programs at level seven.
The placement decisions included Aljouf National University for Educational Management qualification (Higher Diploma program), Philadelphia University for Artificial Intelligence qualification (Bachelor's program), and the Applied Sciences Private University for Fashion Design and Accessories qualification (Bachelor's program), in addition to English Language (Bachelor's program) at the College of Educational Sciences and Arts / UNRWA.
The council approved a number of decisions on the continuity of special accreditation and initial special accreditation for a group of academic specialties in Jordanian universities and colleges which included the continuity of special accreditation for Business Administration specialties (Bachelor's program, Business Management/Administration and Business Administration/Quality, (Master's program), Applied Spanish Linguistics (Master's program), in addition to the dual language program in Spanish and English (Bachelor's program) at the Jordanian University, and the continuity of special accreditation for Computer Engineering (Master's program) at the German Jordanian University, and Social Work, Sociology/ Deviance and Crime (Bachelor's program) at Princess Rahma University College.
At the Arab Open University, it decided to continue the special accreditation for Business Management specialties (Bachelor's and Master's) and Accounting (Bachelor's and Master's), while the initial special accreditation was approved for the specialty of Digital Architecture Engineering (Bachelor's program) at Amman Ahliya University.
At the Middle East University, the decisions included continuing the special accreditation for Nursing specialties, English Language and Literature (Bachelor's and Master's), Applied Translation, Journalism and Media, Arabic Language and Literature, Law (Bachelor's and Master's, general and special), in addition to approving the initial special accreditation for the Business and Psychology specialty (Bachelor's program), and increasing the intake for the Media specialty (Master's program), which included the Intermediate Diploma in Digital Media, Medical Laboratories, Associate Nursing, and Physical Therapy.
It decided to continue the special accreditation for Class Teacher specialty (Bachelor's program) at the World Islamic Sciences University, and the initial accreditation for the Educational Leadership specialty (Master's program), while the technical colleges included continuing the special accreditation for Technical Accounting, Electronic Business Management, Cybersecurity, Applied English Language, and Maintenance of Electric and Hybrid Vehicles at the Arab Community College of Technology and Zarqa Intermediate Technical College.
At Al-Qadisiyah College, it decided to continue the special accreditation for Business Management, Accounting, Supply Management, Customs and Taxation Sciences, Associate Nursing, Measurement and Diagnosis of Autism Disorders, Sharia Sciences, and Applied English Language, alongside the continuation of general accreditation for the college.
On the vocational training front, the council approved the professional standards for Poultry Breeders and Tower Crane Operators, and approved licensing and renewal of licensing for several academies, notably: Luminous Laval Academy for Arts and Sciences of Cosmetology, Water Training Center - Water Authority, Jordanian International Solidarity Academy, The Excellent Address for Consulting, Al-Sakhra Company Academy for Security Services and Consulting, Future Fingerprint for Vocational Education and Training, and Management for Studies and Administrative Development.
