Khaberni - His Highness Prince Omar bin Faisal, President of the Jordanian Esports Federation, has won a seat on the board of directors of the International Esports Federation (IESF), during the meetings of the general assembly held today Saturday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
His Highness garnered the highest number of votes, with 57 votes, reflecting the growing international trust in his efforts and his leadership role in the development of esports regionally and globally.
This victory marks his first direct election to the board, after having previously joined the board as an appointed member by the president of the federation.
It is worth noting that the International Esports Federation, founded in 2008, includes 152 member countries and is considered the leading international entity concerned with this growing global sector.
