Khaberni - Syrian President, Ahmed Al-Shara, considers Israel's effort to establish a buffer zone in southern Syria as something that could put his country in a "dangerous place," while Israel continues to carry out military operations in the area, resulting in the death of 13 people in the latest operation.

During his participation in a dialogue at the Doha Forum, Al-Shara said, "Syria insisted on respecting the 1974 Agreement, which is an agreement that has stood for more than 50 years. It was, in one way or another, a successful agreement. Meddling in this agreement, which enjoys global consensus and Security Council consensus, and seeking other agreements like a buffer zone... I believe that this might put us in a dangerous place."
