Khaberni - The real estate transaction volume in Jordan during the first eleven months of the current year reached JOD 6.454 billion, marking an increase of 4% compared to the same period last year.

According to a report by the Land and Survey Department, the volume of transactions in the Jordanian real estate market during the past November increased by 24% compared to the same month last year, and by less than 1% compared to the previous October, amounting to JOD 636 million.

Since the beginning of the current year, revenue increased by 4% compared to the same period last year, registering JOD 247 million, while revenues in the previous November saw a rise of 6% compared to the same period last year, although they dropped by 9% compared to the previous October, recording JOD 22.5 million.

During the first eleven months of the current year, the sale of real estate in Jordan rose by 1%, with both apartment and land sales increasing by 1% each compared to the same period last year.

The real estate sale movement in Jordan during the past November increased by 4% compared to the same month last year, while it decreased by 8% compared to the previous October.

In detail, apartment sales during the past month rose by 4% compared to the same month last year, and decreased by 5% compared to the previous month (October).

Land sales increased by 4% compared to November of the previous year, while they decreased by 9% compared to the preceding month (October).

The total number of properties sold to companies in Jordan during the first eleven months of the current year reached 10,566 properties.

As for the transactions involving non-Jordanians, they decreased during the first eleven months of the current year by 12%, with apartment sales down by 9% and land sales by 16% compared to the same period last year.

The report showed that the number of transactions involving non-Jordanians in the past month matched that of the same month last year, yet decreased by 7% compared to the preceding October; apartment sales increased by 2% compared to the same month last year, while they decreased by 11% compared to the earlier October.

Land sales decreased by 3% compared to the same month last year, yet increased by 2% compared to October of the preceding month.

The estimated value of transactions involving non-Jordanians during the first eleven months of the current year decreased by 3% compared to the same period last year, amounting to JOD 195 million.

The estimated value of these transactions during the past November increased by 21% compared to the same month last year, while it dropped by 11% compared to the preceding October, amounting to JOD 24 million.
