Khaberni - As the price of a local olive oil tin exceeded 150 dinars in the northern governorates, Jordanians are eagerly awaiting the entry of imported quantities, hoping to alleviate the burden of prices that have weighed down family budgets, especially as the end of the year approaches.

Information from traders indicated that the 8-kilogram containers will be sold by the two consumption institutions, civilian and military, and the Press Owners Syndicate.

The first quantities come from major producing countries such as Turkey, Tunisia, and Spain, and will be sold in limited capacity containers (4-8 kg) to control distribution and prevent exploitation.
