Khaberni - The director of the 25th National Olive Festival, Engineer Abdullah Al-Qudah, announced that the Ministry of Agriculture will refund the financial fees to the owners of ovens and bakeries participating in the festival grounds, and the festival management will cover the cost. Participant owners will only be charged 20 dinars for gas and cleaning services, a reduction from the previously deducted amount of 100 dinars per day.
Al-Qudah stated that this decision was made in recognition of the operational challenges faced by food service providers within the festival, aiming to support and encourage them to provide better service without imposing additional financial burdens.
He indicated that the previous fee was imposed over the past years due to a significant increase in applicants and the inefficiency of some, which led the festival administration to adopt this measure as a tool to filter agencies truly capable of adhering to quality and sustainability standards.
He explained that the festival always strives to enhance professionalism in its various facilities, asserting that its management closely monitors any unacceptable practices, including attempts by some families to obtain more than one table by registering under multiple names. He said that these violations were indeed observed, and photos of the violating tables were taken.
Al-Qudah confirmed that the festival management would take legal actions against violators in upcoming sessions to ensure fairness among participants and to maintain the reputation of the festival and the quality of the experience provided to visitors.
He affirmed that the festival management is committed to continuous development, improvement, and meticulous monitoring of all details, ensuring a fair and organized environment for all participants and a more disciplined and enjoyable experience for visitors.
