Poet Rola Fayeq Nasrawin launched her new poetry book 'I'm Not Okay' during a cultural event held on Tuesday evening at the Royal Cultural Center, attended by a group of writers, media persons, and those interested in cultural affairs.
During her speech at the event, Nasrawin confirmed that this release represents her official return to poetry writing after a period of hiatus, noting that the book is the fruit of a deep human and emotional experience, filled with reflection, disclosure, and questioning.
The launch event included critical interventions that discussed the poetic experience in the book, in addition to poetry readings from the texts of the collection, and musical accompaniment on the guitar, which added an artistic and interactive dimension to the evening.
The event was managed by journalist Saddam Rateb Al-Majali, and speakers included poet Musa Hawamdeh and Professor Mohamed Salam Jam'an, who discussed the implications of the title, the creative style, and the poetic language presented by the poet in this work.
The book 'I'm Not Okay' represents a new milestone in Nasrawin’s literary journey, reflecting a shift in her poetic experience and affirming her renewed presence in the Jordanian cultural and poetic scene.
