The 2026 World Cup draw, which will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico, today resulted in France, the 1998 champion, led by Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe, in Group Nine alongside Norway and its star Erling Haaland star of Manchester City.

The draw, held on Friday at the Kennedy Center in Washington, also placed Senegal in the same group, along with the winner of the international play-off between Iraq, Bolivia, or Suriname.

The group matches will be held in the cities of New York, Boston, and Philadelphia in the United States, along with Toronto in Canada.

FIFA is scheduled to announce the final schedule for the group on Saturday, including the order of matches, their times, and the venues that will host them.
