Khaberni - The kingdom will witness a state of atmospheric instability on Saturday, and the weather will be slightly warm in most areas, with clouds appearing at various elevations, and scattered rain showers occurring in some areas periodically.
According to meteorological reports, in the evening and night hours, cloud amounts will increase at various altitudes, and showers will fall in different places across the kingdom, sometimes being heavy in some areas, accompanied by thunder and hail, leading to the formation of floods in valleys and low areas including the regions of the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with the winds being southeasterly moderate to brisk in speed with strong gusts at times causing dust in many areas especially in the desert regions.
The Public Security Directorate, given the expected state of atmospheric instability and rainfall, which may be heavy at times, has called for the necessity of staying away from the edges of valleys and places where floods form, especially in the southern and eastern regions of the kingdom.
The Directorate also urged caution while driving and the necessity of staying away from water accumulations and not to risk crossing them either on foot or by vehicles.
The Directorate stressed the importance of practicing safe behavior when using heating devices and not leaving them lit while sleeping, and ensuring proper ventilation of homes.
It emphasized not hesitating to call the unified emergency number 911 if needed.
