Khaberni - The national team completed its technical and physical preparations, in anticipation of facing Kuwait at 2:00 PM tomorrow, Saturday, December 6th, at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Doha, as part of the FIFA Arab Cup 2025.

The team conducted its official training session this evening, Friday, at Al-Aqla fields, led by coach Jamal Salami, with the participation of all players, to put the final touches, alongside implementing some tactical phrases for tomorrow's meeting.

The national team leads the ranking of Group Third with 3 points, while Kuwait and Egypt came second and third with one point each, and the UAE fourth without points.

The Chivalrous team concludes the first-round competitions with a match against Egypt at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, December 9th, at Al-Bayt Stadium.

For his part, Salami emphasized during the press conference held at noon today, Friday, the importance of the second matchup which the team enters with high focus and clear determination, as it is an important game to decide the qualification for the second round, especially with the short rest period that the Chivalrous had between the two matches.

He added: The matches between Jordan and Kuwait usually have a strong and competitive nature, as the opponent has elements capable of making a difference, so we realize that small details might be decisive in this awaited encounter.

He concluded: Winning the first match gave us a significant morale boost and extra confidence to continue the journey, and we look forward to continued support and backing from the Jordanian fans. I feel proud to be part of the journey of the evolution of Jordanian football and contributing to its achievements.

In contrast, player Mohamed Abu Zreich noted that the tournament has showcased outstanding levels for most of the participating teams which raises the level of challenge for everyone. The players are eager to deliver a performance befitting Jordanian football and achieve a positive result.

Meanwhile, the technical meeting held at noon today reviewed the administrative and organizational instructions for the match, alongside confirming the teams' colors, where the Chivalrous will appear in white and Kuwait in blue.

The Chivalrous team roster for the tournament includes (23) players: Yazid Abu Laila, Noor Bani Atiyah, Malek Shalabia, Abdullah Naseeb, Saad Al-Rosan, Saleem Obaid, Hossam Abu Zhab, Ali Hijbi, Hadi Al-Hourani, Essam Al-Samerie, Adham Al-Quraishi, Rajai Ayed, Amer Jamous, Nizar Al-Rashdan, Ibrahim Saada, Mohammed Abu Hushish, Muhannad Abu Taha, Oudai Al-Fakhouri, Ahmed Arsan, Mahmoud Mardi, Mohamed Abu Zreich, Ali Alwan, and Yazan Al-Naimat.

The Chivalrous team has secured its qualification to the 2026 World Cup finals for the first time in its history, thereby becoming the first Arab team to ensure its spot in the World Cup.
